The Sony Ericsson Zylo with TrackID which provides music intelligence

The Sony Ericsson Zylo features TrackID which provides music intelligence through its intuitive ability to recognise a track from a sound recording of live music. It also makes the users social scene more interesting with Facebook and Twitter applications present along with other places to share images and messages with friends.

The handset has a Walkman player with the TrackID functionality along with PlayNow for downloading more music to the music library which contains album art and seamless music selection, including choosing songs by genre with SensMe. Clear bass and stereo respectively, each provide further enhancements to tracks when played back on the handset also, through either the Bluetooth wireless or jack (wired) connection.

The Zylo has the Access Netfront web browser which offers the fullness of HTML webpages to the user, with further accessibility and clarity being achieved with the pan and zoom capability. Bookmarks allows the user to store favourite or frequent websites for fast access, while web feeds for instant updates from desired web services is also present.

Messaging capabilities are extended to Exchange ActiveSync for corporate or business email users as well as an email client for all accounts when configured. There is also picture ands text messaging along with instant messaging for more social messaging beyond the social networking applications featured.

Other entertainment is provided YouTube for videos on the Web, along wit video viewing and streaming, along with 3D games and other media with the Java support also present. The phone also has an integrated FM radio with RDS support for live music and news to be enjoyed in addition to the Walkman.

The phone has location based capabilities and includes the Googol Maps application for simple router planning, destination searches and more. Geotagging is also available when capturing photos or video clips through the handsets 3.2 megapixel camera with up to 2 times digital zoom for video recording and image shots.

Connectivity is offered through the wireless Bluetooth technology along with a USB connection offering simple ways to move and sync files and data between the handset and a computer, including mass storage. The handset also has an internal modem which allows it to act as a modem for a compatible computer too.

The Sony Ericsson Zylo is a lightweight, elegant handset featuring a good camera and impressive music capabilities for the user along with a simple user interface and the means to enjoy music from anywhere, while web browsing, messaging or checking social networks.
